Okay, this definitely is not an urban landscape, but it is urban. I think it will suffice :)

Dormant

The branches are dormant within the sheath of ice.

Animals

The reason I posted this in both black and white and color is because I am not sure which I like more. The colors in the color version are pretty bland, yet the range of values in the black and white one isn't outstanding either. The point of this image is just to make the viewer laugh. It is not supposed to be particularly artistic. It was a very in-the-moment moment.

Old/Vintage

The only thing I really like more in the color copy is the reddish brown rust on the hood of the car. Other than that, I think this makes a great black and white photograph. It has a wide range of values, and is framed comfortably. It doesn't feel cramped on any side.

Abstract

In my opinion, these are pretty BAD photographs. They're boring, yet they do fulfill the assignment. But here is the interesting psychological part. You might not know what these images are of, because they're so abstract. But once I tell you that they're of a BRIDGE!, you'll never be able to look at it the same again. You will always think of a BRIDGE!

These photographs are modeled after the one (below) that I took one year ago.

I think it is much more interesting.
